Life Purpose

"What's my purpose of life?What would be my final destination?What is the end for me?"

Didn't you ever think about those things?Is it to make money as much as possible,so we can get better life and then provide with the money good education for our children,so that they could have a good income and make much money as well and so on and so forth?


Or it just happened that we have to exist? With the thinking that I should just let the current carry me..just go with the flow. It's kind of like sailing without a map or navigation system,but wishing and hoping that you'll end up somewhere nice,like an island paradise.


No!Of course there are reasons why we are created.It is already mentioned in the Quran
that

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ

"And I(Allah) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me(Alone)."[Adh-Dariyat(51:56)]

and

 وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً ۖ قَالُوا أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَنْ يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الدِّمَاءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Verily, I am going to place in the earth a khalif." They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, - while we glorify You with praises and thanks and sanctify You." He (Allâh) said: "I know that which you do not know."[Al-Baqarah(2:30)]

or in Malay it sounds like this;

Ingatlah ketika Rabb-mu berfirman kepada para Malaikat: "Sesungguhnya Aku hendak menjadikan seorang khalifah di muka bumi". Mereka berkata: "Mengapa Engkau hendak menjadikan (khalifah) di bumi itu orang yang akan membuat kerusakan padanya dan menumpahkan darah, padahal kami senantiasa bertasbih dengan memuji Engkau dan mensucikan Engkau?" Rabb berfirman: "Sesungguhnya Aku mengetahui apa yang tidak kamu ketahui".[Al-Baqarah(2:30)]


Khalifah means the civil and religious leader of a Muslim state considered to be a representative of Allah on earth.



So from that,we should able to realize that our main purpose of life is
1. to worship Allah(2:30);
2. to serve others to worship Allah(51:56)


After realizing these things,we should start thinking what we should do for Islam.Wake up people..we are born with the same purposes and we need to do what we have to do.
